AGSS Assessment & Certification Pathway

AGSS provides a structured pathway for grooming salons to align with recognised safety and operational standards.

Our 6-Step Assessment Journey

Step 1

Application

Salons submit an expression of interest to join the AGSS framework.

Step 2

Readiness Assessment

A structured review of your salon against AGSS safety and operational standards.

This stage identifies:

  • Current compliance level

  • Safety risks and gaps

  • Areas for improvement

  • Preparation required for certification

Step 3

Development & Improvement Phase

Salons are supported to implement recommended changes and strengthen compliance readiness.

Step 4

Certification Audit (Launching Soon)

Formal certification audits will be conducted once the AGSS Certification Program is officially launched.

This stage is currently in development.

Step 5

Compliance Review

Final evaluation against AGSS standards to confirm certification eligibility.

Step 6

Certification & Star Rating Awarded

Successful salons will be awarded AGSS certification and entered into the AGSS recognition framework.
